Aids for visually impaired people

Sight loss has a profound effect on almost every aspect of life. Therefore, the Swiss National Association of and for the Blind (SNAB) offers a wide range of technical aids for everyday use.

We carry approximately 500 items, some of which we have developed ourselves others have been imported. Those we have developed ourselves are made in Switzerland (mainly in institutions for the blind). Aids can be purchased through our office in Lenzburg or through one of our twelve regional SNAB Aids Distribution Centres. These can be found throughout Switzerland; the most popular aids are usually talking watches, Daisy-Players, Canes and GPS-Navigation.
